Other stuff to do at the fest...

Visit our
"Merch Tent"!

If you're a musician, or you like buying local musicians' CDs, Vinyl recordings, t-shirts, or other memorabilia, you'll find it at our Merch Tent. All local musicians, performing at the festival or not, are invited to bring their band merchandise and sell it here. Consider it your local musicians' rummage sale!

If you are a musician and you have items to sell, please contact us on Facebook at FRM (Friends of Rapids Music) and let us know you'll be bringing your merch. We'll provide a table and staff to man the tent all day. The proceeds go to you, the musician who brings the merch!

Be Part of Our Giant Photo!

The pic on the right was taken in Harlem in 1958. All the jazz greats of the time just happened to be on this street on the same day and at the same time and a photographer named Art Kane snapped the photo. The photo was published in Esquire magazine and has been called, "the greatest picture of that era of musicians ever taken."

We'd like to do the same at our festival. If you're a musician, make sure you're at the fest by 5pm and you'll be part of our "Great Day for Music in Rapids" photo taken by local photographer and FRM Steering Committee member, David Farmbrough.
